With over 15 years experience within the recycling sector, the Team at DARP are able to offer business or individuals with mentoring and facilitation support, to help enhance learning on the subject of waste, recycling and resource efficiency.
Mentoring is a one-to-one relationship in which someone with more experience supports the professional development of another.
Facilitation is more of a group relationship, where the facilitator helps the group work more effectively and efficiently.
Mentoring and facilitation is often considered an academic learning methods used mainly in schools, colleges and universities, by learning from people who have been successful in their chosen field. However, it is increasing being used in a business setting to boost the confidence of staff and gain access to networks, contacts and knowledge that would not otherwise be available to the to the company.
